Brite-View, a company known for their wireless transmission devices like the Air SyncHD and HDelight, announced that it is currently developing an accessory kit for the Air SyncHD. This new accessory would allow those working with professional cameras (equipped with HDMI output) to transmit their videos wirelessly to a field monitor.
For those not familiar with brite-View’s Air SyncHD product, the device provides an “air-bridge” that allows the user to wirelessly transmit uncompressed 1080p HD video/audio signals with no noticeable latency. The Air SyncHD can transmit video up to 100 feet (1080i) – 66 feet (1080p).
There was no word on when the accessory would be available, but the possibilities that open up once freed from the tethers of a bulky field monitor are exciting, regardless.
